It's the day we get ready for Sunday

9:00 a.m. church = crazy Sunday mornings, usually combined with frustrated demands from mom.

The solution?
Curlers on Saturday night.
Sure, why not? My mom put curlers in my hair as a kid. I felt just like Shirley Temple.

So, I gave them a try on Brinkley. They actually made her hair kind of frizzy. Maybe I did it wrong. She had all these weird cowlicks in her hair and it just didn't look right. I tried it again the next Sunday. Same thing.
Oh well. Worth a shot.
Maybe I'll try them again when her hair is a bit thicker.

Anyway. I still thought she looked adorable fresh out of the tub with pink curlers in her hair. She just looks like she smells clean.

Cute!!! I used those on my girls and couldn't figure out why their hair went frizzy until my cousin-my hairdresser-said it was the foam from the curlers. She said to try some gel or other hair products when I try it the next time. It seemed to keep down the frizz, but the empty spots kinda just fill in when the hair relaxes. Good luck, She looks cute with them in.

Smaller curlers closer together. Then you won't get empty spots. I use at least two dozen on MJ's hair and put them really close close together. Then she will really look like Shirley Temple but it is cute and easy. I use the second to the smallest kind. They are typically yellow.

Such a cute picture! Will you come document my family's life with pictures, I have never seen you take a bad picture. I use to have some of the yellow ones talked about above, but Paisley never needed them so I think I chucked them, darn.

If you figure them out pass along the secret. I've tried them repeatedly in Sarah's hair too, but it always ends up too frizzy so I just pull it back.

I'll trade you though. I miss the 9am church. Sure it was a rush to get out the door (still seems a rush even at 1pm) but then you have the whole day to enjoy your family time. Cherish it! I know we'll happily welcome that block back next year. ;)
