Chocolate Graham Cracker Mishap

After I had Darcy, I fully expected to have tons of stories of two-child mishaps.
Surprisingly, I haven't had many.
Brinkley is an excellent big sister.
She is nice to Darcy, she takes good care of her, and things stay relatively calm round these parts.

BUT, I did have one mishap the other day.
Yay! A story to write about.
I'll be honest, it's not that exciting, but at least it's something.

I was in the shower and when I got out, Darcy had brown stuff all around her mouth.
Hmm. Curiouser and curiouser.
I was concerned it was poop. Then I noticed the cracker in her hand.
Phew! Just a chocolate graham cracker.
Brinkley was just trying to share. Which is nice. But I told her Darcy was not old enough to eat crackers yet (she was not quite 6 months yet).
And I was so nice about it because I thought it was cute.

So, what does Brinkley do?
She takes her large handful of crackers and in defiance, throws them in the toilet. Flushes. And then runs away as if she is in great fear for her life.
Smart girl.
Chocolate graham crackers are a hot commodity in this house. They are one of my favorite treats, though kinda on the pricey side so we don't get them often.
She did get a time out. I can be so mean.

Darcy just licked her lips.

Hilarious. I love that Brinkley flushed them and ran! She is such a great sister to Darcy and you are a great mom so I am not surprised you don't have mishaps.
