Here goes... (P.S. It's like a novel, sorry)
Rules:
1. Each player starts with 8 random habits/facts/quirks about themselves.
2. People who are tagged need to write a post on their blog about their 8 things and post these rules.
3. At the end of the post you need to choose 8 people to get tagged and list their names.
Eight things you never wanted to know about me, but may (or may not) find interesting:
ONE: I am a snooze button pusher. Oh, how I wish I weren't. On average, I push the snooze button at least 3 times before I even comprehend that it's morning. And yes, I am guilty of setting my alarm clock earlier than I plan on getting up just for the satisfaction of being able to crash back into my comfy slumber. I am currently working on this foible by putting myself on a reward system. I set my alarm for 6:53 a.m. and usually tumble out of bed at 7:13 a.m. - if I am up everyday during the week before 7:30 a.m. I can watch a movie I check out from the library. Dorky, but it's been working.
TWO: I HATE being uneven. This sounds strange because it is strange. If you (for instance) tug on one ear, it will drive me crazy until you tug on the other. If you punch my left arm, I will feel unsettled until the right arm has also been punched. And I can't rectify the uneven-ness myself, it has to be someone else tugging my ear or punching me. OHHH I can't stand it!
THREE: I'm boring when I read. At least that's what my sister tells me. When I get a book that I get into - I REALLY get into it. I can't put it down until it is done and when I read I don't do much else. The dishes pile up and the laundry gets postponed. When I am forced to put it down to do mundane things - like make dinner - I can't stop thinking about when I'll be able to read again. As a side note, Josh doesn't think I'm that boring when I read, he actually finds me quite amusing because I can totally tune everything else around me out (meaning I ignore him if he talks to me) and I make sound effects as I read (i.e. giggle when something is funny, or gasp when I am alarmed). Recently, I have been reading the Harry Potter season. So far I have read books 1-5 in about a month and a half. Good thing I am a fast reader.
FOUR: I enjoy being prego. Yes, I am one of those annoying women who is like "Oh, I loved being pregnant, I felt like I was glowing!" Ha ha. Granted, I had massive backaches and by the end felt so fat that I was like "get this baby out!." BUT for the most part, I really enjoyed the whole pregnancy process. I thought it was the coolest thing ever that a real live baby was growing inside of me. Besides that, I didn't get morning sickness or swollen ankles. That makes a big difference I'm sure. My next pregnancy is bound to be torture.
(P.S. Being a mom is about 100 times better than being pregnant!!!)
FIVE: I'm totally a list person. I live by my lists and I have about a billion. I have my daily to-do list, my weekly to-do list, my grocery list, my craft list, my recipes I want to try list, my random idea list, my things I want to do list... And the list goes on :) If I don't have my to-do list written down, I literally don't get anything done. I just wander around thinking "I don't know if I have anything to do." When really I have a thousand things I should be doing.
SIX: I get blazing hot feet. It is a curse I inherited from my mother. It usually happens right before bed and then it keeps me up and I have to stick my feet out the side of the bed so the covers don't even come close to touching them. Very annoying.
SEVEN: I have to shower in the morning. Everyday. I feel so stinkin' nasty if I don't shower. I smell, my hair is greasy, and I just feel blah. I have had people try to talk me into showering at night before I go to bed. Umm, no. My day does not officially begin until I get out of the shower.
EIGHT: My mind is constantly racing with crafty, artsy projects and ideas. Not kidding, I will keep myself up at night thinking of all the little projects I want to do. I have pages of ideas written down. Do you think I do any of them? No. Mostly not. I just want to. I go to the library every week and check out a zillion books on how to make this or do that and my mind gets going all over again. I'm so weird.
Some normal behaviors that didn't quite make it to the top eight: I LOVE back rubs. I have a major sweet tooth, and I like to be barefoot even though it makes my feet ugly.
I tag 8 people who would like to play the game. YOU'RE IT!
The end.

This is so cute! I am the exact same way when I read too! I have a hard time sleeping at night when I am into a good book cause it is all I think about, and then I dream about it too! I loved your list making one, you are so funny!
I love your blog because it's like sitting in a room next to you having a conversation. Well, a sort of one sided conversation, but the point is, your personality totally shines through! Thanks for the good reads!
I love it Hays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Daniel insisted that he read this out loud to me last night so that he could show me how alike we are ;) In case you didn't know, we are basically twins minus the fact that you are a sarah palin look-alike :)
You should share some of your craft lists and recipe lists. I bet the rest of us uncreative people would like some ideas! :)
