Explanation: We watched it on the internet, but our computer room does not have any chairs or couches in it, and we weren't about to move our couch. So, we improvised. We put blankies on the lawn chairs, so they were almost comfortable. I'll say one thing - I didn't fall asleep!
As Josh was trying to drift off to sleep last night, I couldn't stop chit-chatting about General Conference. This is kind of how the conversation went:
Hayley: Don't you just LOVE General Conference?
Josh: Mmm-hmm
Hayley: Doesn't it just want to make you better?
Josh: Yep.
Hayley: What was your favorite talk?
Josh: Mmm. They were all good.
Hayley: Oh man. I loved President Monson's on enjoying our journey. Oh, and his one on change was great. Wasn't it funny when Elder Wirthlin told that story about his daughter? And wasn't Elder Holland's talk about Angels so cool? Elder Bednar's on prayer was just what I needed to hear, and I can't wait to re-read Sister Dalton's.
Josh: Mmm-hmm
Hayley: That French guy's was good too, but I had a hard time paying attention because I just wanted to copy the way he said his words.
Josh: Mmm-hmm
Hayley: How was the Priesthood Session?
Finally, Josh must have given up on trying to sleep because we did get into a pretty good conversation about all our favorite parts and didn't go to sleep til about midnight. Sorry honey! And in all actuality, Josh proably loves General Conference just as much, if not more, than I do! So the conversation above is a bit skewed.
Anyway, we've got another Conference Geek in the making. Brinkley helped me take notes and she thouroughly enjoyed the choir. She wanted to sing right along with them...
And if that doesn't cheer you up for the day, this most assuredly will!

I think Brinkley sounds more like me when singing then you or Josh...the poor baby!! I laughed at her pretty hard! I loved confrence too. I missed some because of work, so I can't wait for the Ensign!
You guys are awesome...maybe should try lawn chairs, because we both went in and out for a little bit and are SO thankful that we get to read them in the ensign! I love the video of Brinkley! that's the first time I've seen her in motion (usually on pics) She is even cuter when she talks! and that picture at the end...PRICELESS!
Its good to know that Hannah and I are not the only ones who have conversations like that. Josh, I hope all is going well. We had our second test this past week...and it went better than the first one, and thats all I was hoping for.
I can't believe how cute your little girl is. I love the pictures. We need to get together in December in Utah.

I am glad to hear that one of Becky's kids love the gospel... "HI, my name is Robyn, I am your new found step sister in law! Say that 10 times fast!" Loved the blog it was fantastic, and so was conference, the little bit I got to view. Sure feels good eating all that fruit for the soul. Thanks!! Oh and your daughter is adorable, maybe at some point you can move back to utah and our girls can be buddies!

That last picture of your little girl is the cutest thing ever! Conference is sure amazing. Since we are in China we still have not gotten to see it all yet. They are sending us a DVD from Hong Kong this week and we will go to the church to watch it together. Sure is different having to go to the church to see General Conference, but we are just so grateful we are able to see it while we are here. Glad to hear you guys are doing well, we look forward to seeing updates on what you guys are doing!
