I Put a Spell on You, and Now You're Mine...

Happy Halloween!

Brinkley is a not-so-scary witch for her very 1st Halloween! You've got to be a witch at least once in your life, right? I thought we'd knock it out of the way. Plus, I couldn't resist those adorable striped tights. So cute on her chunky legs! The neighbors are going to go crazy over how cute she is, I just know it.
Bonus for the parents - we get to eat all of Brinkley's candy! Come on, she just barely had her first rice cereal... (I'll be sure to post that video later. So funny.)

So, my mom visited this past week.
Best week ever.
Oh man, we had so much fun. I've been homesick ever since. :(


We picked her up at the airport LATE Thursday night and Brinkley had a welcome sign for Grandma Ginny! While she was here we did some super fun things.
We went to a farmer's market and got yummy apples to make caramel apples with - TASTY!
We visited Amish country. We took a picture of the back of this little buggy (We were considerate and read up on our Amish etiquitte, you can't take pictures of the people. We figured a buggy was second best).
We visited the Duquesne Incline. Which is a million year old trolley ride up a steep mountain. It was scary, but awesome. It had the most incredible view of Downtown Pittsburgh. I wish the pictures did it justice. The worker man at the station gave Brinkley her own 'First Ride' ticket and came out so we could take a picture with him. It was so cute.
We also did a lot of shopping! Which is fun anytime of the year.
The only thing missing was Grandpa :(
(We picked up a rattle for Brinks that said "I LOVE GRANDPA" so he knew we were thinking of him)



That's our fun, fun week in a nutshell. I could have written a year long essay about everything we did in detail, but fortunately, for the sake of our avid readers, I did not.
