Josh's Latest Celebrity... I mean Celestial Lookalike

We were so very fortunate to have David A. Bednar preside at our Stake Conference this weekend! He gave excellent talks that rebuked, humbled us and inspired us to be much much better (he mentioned we would all blog about this - ha ha. He is definitely inspired)
AND we got to meet him.
Meeting him kind of went like this:
We both shook his hand. I smiled stupidly while Josh had this 'deer in the headlights' look. Seriously.
Elder Bednar asked Brinkley's name, which I told him and then he said "I have eight granddaughters and I feed them all ice cream!"
I didn't really have a response to that (though I could have gone on and on about how much I love ice cream and my grandpa gives it to me too - but I don't think he would have cared)
So instead I blurted out "We think you look like him." Pointing at Josh.

Talk about lame and word vomit.

Fortunately he is a kind hearted man because he responded "Well, let's hope he grows out of it."
Do you think that means he agrees?

Now, onto things that don't deal with acting like idiots in front of General Authorities...
We had a little photo shoot at Schenley Park on Saturday! Aren't we a cute little family? And I think these pictures turned out pretty good for only using a tripod and a self-timer.

And Brinkley just keeps getting cuter and cuter...

My mom dug this sweater out of all of our old baby clothes. Which means, I probably wore that! Sweet huh? Nice and cozy for a chilly day. She likes to suck on the sleeves which stretches them out and leaves them soggy all day. I love that baby.

Getting ready for Halloween! I actually took about 50 pictures of her with that stupid pumpkin to finally get ONE clear shot. Wobble wobble.
Rollie Pollie Baby.
Cutie Petutie (how is that even spelled?)

Little Face Pincher. If you look close, you can see the good grip she had on her daddy's face. Ha ha. She looks like she is enjoying it too.

It must be a Johnson girl thing, because once I passed Elder Uchtdorf and asked him if he was the new general authority. He said, very kindly, YES. And then I muttered COOOOOOLLLLL! Yeah, like that's what you should say to a General Authority. Oh well. Cute pictures of Brinkley and the family.
