Although I must say, while the internet was not working - I managed to get a lot more done than usual. AMAZING! On top of all this, my hottie hubby Josh has been studying LOTS because his first exam is on Monday. GOOD LUCK HONEYBUN!!! You're so smart!
So, with him hunched over his books, I've been using all these projects to distract myself so that I don't bother him.1. I read Harry Potter 1 and started number 2 (which has been put on hold to write this blog entry... see, that's where I left it on the bed). I love that wizard!

2. I went to the Library TWICE and stocked up on books. Assuming I keep this up, I will know all about flower gardens, veggie gardens, decorating on a dime, baby sign language, and also have brilliant Martha Stewart Halloween decorating ideas.

3. I busted out all my crafty stuff, made a huge mess in the bedroom, and began to make fun decor for my house. That hole in the middle of all the stuff on the floor is where I sit. Look familiar mom?
4. I meandered around The Home Depot. That's always fun.5. I finally took the boxes of our old stuff to the Goodwill and then shopped around and bought other people's old stuff (I got a darling skirt and a sweet set of mixing bowls).
That's a good find for 4 bucks, right? And as always, my adorable baby keeps me busy...
Speaking of Brinkley, does anyone know how to get baby poo out of carpet? HELP!!!

You make me laugh so much! I just love you.
I wish we lived close so we could be bored together! I've had to find things to keep me away from Tyler too. I just started embroidering a pillow. I'll post it when I'm done!
Anyway, I heart oxi-clean! My friend who has several kids told me about it and it has saved many-a-onsies. I bought a 3.5 lb container of the powder so I can soak clothes in a bucket when they get bombed. I also got the spray stuff for the same reason you need it! I haven't used it on poop, but I did get carrot baby food throw up out of white carpet.
Sorry about the huge comment :)
Look at you doing lots of busy things! I coud learn a few lessons from you. Good luck getting the baby poo out of the carpet. I haven't had the experience with that one as of yet, but I am thinking you could probably use pet stain remover and it would work just as well on, well, you know... :)
cute skirt! I have never read harry potter! and gross about the baby poo on the carpet...looks just like the mess she left at my house once. You really should potty train that girl! HA HA
Oh, that's fun about Harry Potter and all your fun little projects. I've been reading Harry Potter this year too. The goal is to finish them all by January. I was doing so good - reading one book a week until I got to number 4, which took about 2 or three months. And now I've been on number 5 for about three months. It just stares at me from my floor every time I enter my room!! I need to get going on it again!
Oh, by the way, I was at home yesterday and found one of those mod podge tins we used to make with magazine clippings. Remember those? I put memories in mine. When I opened it up I found a few of our old locker decorations we had our senior year. There were a couple quotes from teachers. My favorites are as follows...
"If it were up to me, I'd just padlock your pants!" -Mr. McConkie
"Put your patty-cakers up in the air where I can see them!" -Mr. Keime
I had completely forgot about these. Haha. And remember how Mr. Yahne used to say "Bow-dozers." Oh man. We went to a pretty weird high school.
That is such a creative post. I need to do more fun things like that. Thanks for taking us to Costco today! Love ya!
Oh the joys of poo in the carpet! It sounds like you guys are doing fabulous! I got so caught up in your blog, it's so fun to read! As for my poo in the carpet, we got to it while it was still fresh so a spot carpet remover took it out just fine with a little elbow grease added. If nothing works, what a great place for a rug!
AHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!! Hay hay!!! SO I finally just got around to finding your blog!!! And can't WAIT to keep up with you guys, and the darling little designer, Brink!!!!
What a doll face! I can't can't believe you are a mother! What a lucy girl! Give her sweet cheeks BIG kisses from all of us! You look fabilous!
Tell Josh hey, and that I miss cutting his hair!
Oh, I do need your help in a MAJOR way!
I'll e-mail you as well, but what was that phrase Shawna use to say? Jenna, my friend brought it up, and for the life, I can't think of what it is!!! HELP.
Ok.
I'll add you to our blog, and really, keep up the posts!
HAYLEY!! YOU are hilarious! I wish I could help you with the POO situation...sorry no help here! Thanks for sharing those funnies with us...I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!! and WE LOVE YOU! :)
I must give huge props to Josh for the jimmy-rig on the telephone plug. And that, my friends, is why he's in medical school;)
