This past Saturday we went to the Blue Slide Park (in Frick Park) to attend this Storybook Walk event thingy they hold every year.
Too bad we missed it.
I've been to the park before. I thought it would be a piece of cake to find it again.
Wrongo.
We got lost (thanks to me) and ended up getting there 20 minutes before it ended.
Not much time for all the fun I had in mind.
Oh well. Brinks had fun on the playground anyway.
At least I think she did.
She discovered fear. She's going through this "scared" phase where everything "scares" her. She'll come running up the hall, hug my legs and look up at me with those big brown eyes and say "scared."
When I ask her what she's scared of, she doesn't have an answer for me. Who the heck knows what is frightening her. I think she might just like the word and getting a reaction out of me.
Anyway, she's all of the sudden scared of slides.
So... the day was a bit of a flop. But at least we got outside while the weather was beautiful.

LOVE all your pictures and how adorable Brinkley is. My favorite is when she is on Josh's shoulders. Her mad soccer skills are pretty impressive too. Love how you caught the process of her kicking the ball below.
