How did two weeks go by already?
How come babies change so much so fast?
Darcy is two weeks (and one day) old.
She is getting chunkier by the minute.
She is an AWESOME sleeper! For a full week now she only gets up twice per night to eat.
Last night she only got up once. Am I lucky or what?
However... she has a hard time waking up in the morning. She will stretch and grunt for about an hour before she will crack her eyes open. It sure wakes me up though!
She has found her voice. She has this kind of growly noise she likes to make and she already figured out that she can give a little shout when she is not getting enough attention.
Her umbilical cord is still hanging on to her. It hasn't fallen off yet. When is that supposed to happen anyway?
She loves to be held, and prefers if the person holding her is standing. Picky, picky.
She's not a big fan of the binky. A blessing and a curse. We'll see if that changes in the next few weeks.
She tolerates her sister poking and prodding her all the time saying "baby sister! baby sister!"
Brinkley loves to rub Darcy's head and give her kisses and grab her hands and feet and toes and arms and legs (I think she is trying to show me that Darcy has all of these things. She must not think I am observant)
Darcy doesn't like it when Brinkley sits on her head though. (It was an accident... twice. Brinks really did feel bad for making her cry!)
She still looks just like Brinkley did. I can't even pick out differences.
She gets cuter everyday.
I LOVE DARCY!!
In celebration of two whole weeks I painted the frame bluish-green and took some more pictures.
I can't believe how much she has already grown. It's ridiculous.

I love the color of the frame. Perfect. I love the pictures. She is growing fast. I hate how fast that first months goes by. She is beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
I love that picture where you are backed away and you can see the whole frame. SO cute!

Brilliant! I need to find a frame!!! (or 3) what a fun way to show her progression and growing. start with once a week, then once a month, then once a year and don't think I won't make her pose with it as a 16-yr-old because I will! Are you going to have it keep changing colors?
*gasp* What if I have a boy - could a frame still work or is it too girly?
What a doll! You are so amazing at taking pictures! My hubby does pictures and isn't it nice not to have to take your kids in somewhere, I love it!! Well congrats and good job!!!

I love how much Brinkley loves her little sister. Brady and I saw her in sacrament pat Darcy's head and say sister. It is adorable and of course both your girls are ADORABLE!
