Happy Fourth

Actually, we did most of our celebrating on the 3rd.
Our good friends the Johnson's had a barbecue at a nearby park!
There were lots of friends and yummy food and of course... fireworks!
Brinkley was a little bit apprehensive at first about the fireworks, but it didn't take her long to get into them.
In fact, she wasn't afraid of getting close to them at all by the end and was making everyone nervous. My little daredevil child.

We were bums on the actual day of Independence. We came home from church, ate dinner and then took naps while Brinkley watched Snow White. Then we put her to bed and went to bed ourselves. Sound lame? Oh well!

HEY!
Who is the woman in the 6th picture down (long blond hair, red shirt with white dots)- and why does she look soooo familiar? I swear I used to work with her at Colemans...

Looks like so much fun! I'm sorry we missed it. Our 4th wasn't nearly so eventful....Lincoln got super sick and we were home in bed by 8 :)
