A Digital SLR Camera.
I have been wanting one so bad, and our digital camera was dying a slow and painful death. While the old camera is still hanging around, I don't really miss him. :) I am much too happy with my new fancy camera!
It is definitely taking some getting used to and I still need lots and lots of practice - but so far so good! I adore it! The buyers remorse is completely gone now.
Not to mention, it is sooooo nice to have a camera that can actually keep up with my two year old!
Here are a few {cough} goodies from our first photo shoot...
Really, I'm sorry about the large number of photos you have to look through. It's actually not that many in comparison to how many I took that day. I think I breezed through 700 pictures in less than an hour.
Yep, I filled up an 8 GB memory card in like 3 days. Granted, not many of them were good. I am after all a newbie, but I still managed to get some that I love!

Wow! I kept looking at the pics above and thinking, "Wow! These are really good! I wonder if she got a new camera!" I'm so smart. It's so good to hear how you guys are doing. I keep Ben updated through reading your blog:). Wish you guys lived closer so that we could get to know you more (well, me and Nate, obviously). Maybe we'll move to Pittsburgh some day!
