Today we went to Moraine State Park.
There is a beach there. Kinda.
It was a small man-made sandpit cut out of the surrounding grass. A swimming area was roped off for all the kiddos to play.
Brinks and I didn't get any further than 3 feet out. She ventured out once, tripped and fell, and after that was content to play in the (very) shallow end with a bucket, shovel and dirt.
Yes, that occupied her... the entire time.
But I didn't mind.
In fact, I seriously had a blast.
We'll be going back for sure so that Josh can go too!
My one regret is that I didn't get a picture of how gorgeous it was there.
I usually avoid landscape pictures because I think they are boring. But man, I wish I would have! It really was beautiful there!
It was a bit rainy, but not enough to thwart our fun! Actually, I dare say it made it better because there was hardly anyone else there. Plus, the water was the perfect temperature!
It was, however, a little chilly getting out of the water...
Luckily I put the towels at the bottom of the bag (so they didn't get wet from the rain) and Brinks was able to warm up and be cozy enough to fall asleep on the drive home!
One of my favorite days I've ever had in Pittsburgh!

(I wasn't able to get very many great pictures of Brinkley because she was doing the exact same thing the whole time... oh well.)

Awesome pictures, Hayley! I have been wanting to go to Moraine for quite sometime now. It looks awesome!
You think landscapes pictures are boring?!?! Those are actually my preference when it comes to photography :)
How fun does that look! Hope you and Josh can get there together! Hope all is well!
We love it there. I am glad you had such a good time.
Brinks looks cute in her little swimsuit!
Still a cutie! And you look great!
I love to see picts. of Josh, and think back to when you two were just starting to date...oh those were the days.
Yeah, I felt SO cheated with only ONE ultrasound. No one told me I had it so good! :)
Keep blogging, please!
