My dad's birthday is April 27th and Brinkley's is not too far behind... but sadly, we would already be back in Pittsburgh for Brinks birthday.
So, my dad consented to sharing his little birthday party with Brinkley (as if he would really care! He would probably give up his birthday completely for that kid!)
She really caught on the the presents aspect of her birthday this year!
She would say "Presents! Open!"
And when she ran out of her own gifts to open - she helped her grandpa with his!

She got a ton of books (which she loves), a ton of clothes (which I love), and plenty of toys to keep her occupied forever! One of her favorites was a Barbie car. She put her 'boys' in it and pushed them around.
By 'boys' I'm talking about some dolls that were mine when I was a kid. They are dolls from the TV show 'Full House.' It was my absolute favorite!
You see, after a trip to the D.I. one day, we came back with a little doll house that Brinkley refused to leave at the store. But it had no dolls to go in it. Then I remembered my Full House cast dolls. I busted them out of storage, cleaned them up, washed their clothes, and man, she loved those little dolls. She played with them for hours.

That cracks me up that you had full house dolls! And I can't believe that your daughter is so old now!
