What's Easter without dying some eggs?
I bought the kit from Walmart that was $1.00, I think. The cheapest I could find.
I'm the best mom.
Oh well, Brinks didn't know the difference.
It came with stickers! That's all she cares about.
So, we dyed them while Darcy was napping. :)
Otherwise it would have been a big whine fest because:
'Darcy's on my chair' or
'Oh no! Darcy's touching that mom!' or
'Mom, look at Darcy'
(after I've told her to stop whining and tattling she just points at her sister and gives this look like, see? she's naughty. Hmm. Seems like I complain about my children a lot. Just to be clear, none of the above scenarios happened. I only imagined them in my head before deciding that Darcy would not be part of our clothes-staining Easter festivities this year. Maybe next year Darce.)
Back to the story.
We had a good time. Brinks really did think I was the coolest mom. She loved dropping the eggs in the color. The bigger the drop the louder the plop.
Actually, the bigger the drop the more mom threatens to stop what we're doing right now! :)
Because the stickers we had were eyes and mouths, Brinkley just HAD to name them all.
So, I present to you, our Easter Eggs:
(drum roll please)
Top (left to right): Silly Tooth, Silly Tongue, Silly Egg, Googly Eyes, Silly Monster
Bottom (left to right): Silly Snake, Silly Alien, Silly Soap, Silly Bad Guy, Silly Hill, Silly Goose

Attempting to get a picture of both of us with the eggs. My arms are too short.

Our little guys made fantastic Devilled Eggs. Brinkley even helped me peel them. What a great activity for a three year old. Kept her occupied for a good half hour. Up until she got one of those eggs that just won't peel in big pieces. Just those tiny little pieces that get stuck under your nails.
