all for a birthday party.

Happy Birthday to you.
Happy Birthday to you.
Happy Birthday, dear Relief Society!
We had a birthday party for YOU!
{And it was awwweeesooomme!}

Have I ever mentioned how much I love my calling?
I plan the mid-week activities for the Relief Society and let me tell you, it is a LOT of work.
But it brings me so much satisfaction.
I love planning the activities, but I especially love how I feel when they are all done.

This birthday party was the epitome of what I do every month.
I packed my whole darn house to this event.
It was a BIRTHDAY BASH!
We had balloons, decorations, a full on pasta dinner, a pinata, pin the tail on the donkey, presents, and delectable cupcakes!
Mmm. Cupcakes.

Of course I was a spaz the whole night. That's how I roll when I'm running on pure adrenaline. There is no slowing me down when I get that way. I was wired for a few hours that evening. Just ask my mom. I think I jabbered her ear off on the phone for about an hour. I'm getting sweaty just thinking about it.

We had 43 sisters come. Wowsers! (that just about triples our usual attendance to these things)
I'm lucky we over planned on the food. Phew!

My committee was awesome! Karly arranged the presents (we made fabric flower clips for everyone - really cute), Cheryl made all the phone calls to get food there (because I have a phone phobia), Stephanie arranged the nursery and made all 50 cupcakes that were to DIE for! Seriously, good stuff.
Emily and her cute hubby helped with all the set up. As did Jean and her little helper Noah.
And although she is not on the committee, I have to thank Ashley for taking so many great pictures so I could remember all the details. And of course, blog about it.
It was an amazing night.
Thank you everyone!

Another successful night. As you can tell by the smiles on everyone's faces.

Hayley you are amazing! I can only imagine how good the RS birthday party turned out. You are the most creative and talented gal I know! I have phone phobia too! That makes me feel better to know that I'm not the only one! I love you to pieces and think you are wonderful!
