Easter, Springtime and Brinkley's new stage of life

Happy Easter Everyone!
We sure enjoyed ours.

Brinkley found her Easter Basket!
The Easter Bunny hid it very well... On top of the coffee table! I guess the bunny know where Brinkley likes to climb.

She opened all her eggs and found yummy treats, a toy car, a slinky, a book and some foamy letter and numbers! (Plus she had some fun things from her Great Grandma Johnson!)

No one warned me the mess that Goldfish crackers could make...

Later that evening we had dinner with our friends, the Wildes and then we watched The Prince of Egypt to celebrate the Passover. Yes, we realize we were late, but we'd been meaning to do it and never got the chance!

Spring is on it's way!!

We got a reel lawn mower to cut our grass. Awesome! Blossoms and buds are appearing on the trees! We can't wait for green trees again!
Winter in Pittsburgh is too loooong!

We were really jealous this weekend when we went to Washington D.C. to go to our Ward Temple Day. They have green stuff all over! It was beautiful.
I'm sure we're not far behind.

........................................................................................................

Brinkley has reached a new stage of life.
STANDING!

She'll be walking before we know it. She does pretty good already with the help of this little toy she got from her Grandma Becky for Christmas.

She's also eating all kinds of food. Her favorites include bananas and blueberries!
She takes humongous bites of banana (I'm honestly surprised she hasn't choked yet, I know that sounds kind of morbid) and blueberries are a big blue mess!

She is getting big. The reel mower is awesome. I love it. If we had less grass it would be fun to use.

Oh cute! She is going to be a heartbraker when she's older. Josh better start cleaning his gun now. He'll want to fend off the boys!

Soggy, Ground-in goldfish crackers are the best! Don't ya know. REMEMBER: She's only little once.

I miss green, too. No one told me SPRING was spelled WINTER! Nice mower.
