Clear back at the beginning of November, Brinkley, Darcy and I went to the Children's Museum with some friends.
I can't believe we have lived in Pittsburgh for over 2 years and we haven't been there yet! It did not disappoint. Brinkley loved everything! The only problem we had was trying to squeeze everything into one trip!
(oh, and the price... it was a little bit pricey for us, but oh well. it's just money. and we created memories.)
I always feel like such a good mom when I take my watch Brinkley run around playing somewhere other than home. And with friends! Oh, how she loves her friends. So, I pat myself of the back and say "see, you're a good mom. sometimes." And she goes on smiling and giggling (well, her giggle is more like a loud squeal) and it brings me so much joy.
She especially loved painting. She is into that right now. She probably could have spent the entire time doing that, but I made her do other stuff too. Which she also loved... don't get me wrong.
Darcy was a champ. She slept most of the time. I love that. She is a goooood baby.
What a good day we had.

I am glad you went. Pittsburgh offers so many fun activities. I really miss that.
