On Friday we attended the ward's Fall Festival.
We had A LOT of fun! There were games, treats, contests and, of course, fun people!
There was even a chili cook-off. I made chili for it, but didn't win.
However, I did eat the winning chili and I must say,
well deserved.
My chili may never taste good to me again. Ha ha.
Brinkley had a good time too. She loves playing with all of her little friends.
It was quite a chore getting Brinks to stay still long enough to get a good picture of her in her cute pumpkin costume. The lighting in the church is not so good. I did manage to get this one with her friend Paisley.
She picked out the costume herself. I showed her Princess costumes, bug costumes... lots of costumes. She gave me a firm "no." to all of them except the pumpkin. As soon as she saw it she said "punkin. yeah." and hung it on the cart handlebar.
She can be so particular, but I think she made a great choice. She looked really cute.
Darcy had no say in her costume. I borrowed it from my friend Bethany (thanks!) and I must say, she was one cute little chicken.

But she wasn't the only cute chicken! Actually, three kids had the same costume that night! I voted for 'the 3 chickens' to get the funniest costume in the costume drawing... to no avail.
Oh well.

And here is Brinkley saying hi to Buzz Lightyear. She wasn't quite sure what to call him all night; Andrew or Buzz? Either way, I know she liked his costume. She's a big fan.
