A little too much freedom perhaps?
And here I thought she was taking awesome naps in her new big girl bed.
Turns out, she just became more quiet in her afternoon play.
It truly is 'quiet time.'
Quiet disaster-making time.
The culprit?
Well, a few things.
1. The chair which she pulled over to the bookcase to make her taller. To reach the basket that she's not suppose to be able to reach because it holds a few things I didn't want her playing with without supervision. Yep.

2. The dry erase marker she found in the basket decorating the bookcase.
for the record, she can play with chalk unsupervised. I'm not that weird.3. My daughter. Duh. She is the mastermind, after all.
I came in to find she had colored all over her face, hands, feet, clothes, sheets, bed, table, and books (library books no less). She also dumped 1000 tiny elastics all over her room. I keep finding them in her sheets, clothes, books, etc.
Fun.
Not.
And yet, I still keep her around. I must be in love.
Perhaps it's those big.brown.eyes.

Is it wrong that I lured her back into her bed with m&m's just so I could get these pictures?
Oh, and sometimes she really does take a nap. Just thought you'd like to know.

Ha ha, no it isn't wrong that your lured her back, or we wouldn't have these lovely pictures:)
How will kids ever learn what is wrong and right if we find it so amusing and cute when they do the wrong things! lol
It must be those amazing beautiful eyes that got her off the hook!
Oh yes, we've had many of these moments my least favorite being the time Sarah decided that watching the kitty chase the rice she threw, all. over. the basement! I actually stumbled across some just yesterday (this was almost a year ago that this happened). What to make the most of the moment and turn it into a cute post. What a cute mom you are!
oh boy! we love/hate dry erase at our house. but those sweet eyes do earn forgiveness pretty quickly. her room looks darling, despite the recent redecoration by miss b. it was so fun to see you and meet darcy the other day!
Haha how great.
I think she is just using her artistic side. Look how she decorated herself, her room, her bed. She must have thought you didn't do a very good job on the re-decorating process when you moved her to a big girl bed.
