What's the date? The 20th?
Phew! I was worried I had waited an ENTIRE month after Christmas to blog about it. What a relief. Ha ha.I know I'm a wee bit slow. For some reason, it has been tough for me getting back into the swing of things since we got back to Pittsburgh.
BUT, enough of that.
Needless to say we had a wonderful Christmas in Utah with our families!
Brinkley was fun and funny and I think everyone enjoyed her.
She tends to get a little ultra-hyper when we're in Utah, but I probably would too with so much positive attention!! So, despite all the many messes she made, everyone still thinks she cute.
We all, of course, got spoiled rotten and feel so humbled to have such generous parents, grandparents, and family.
Brinks learned everyone's name and still remembers them when she looks at pictures.
We miss the beautiful snow (we had some to welcome us back to Pittsburgh, but it has since melted). But we don't miss the smog. Bleh.
Here are some pictures of our nice, relaxing trip. I wish I had more. We did so many fun things and my documenting is terrible... but you can still look at these and see that we had a great time. Don't forget to watch the video at the end. It's cute!

Brinkley in her puffy snowsuit at Christmas Village in Ogden. She loved all the lights and little houses to look in. We couldn't get enough of watching her walk around in that puffy pink suit. It was so funny!

We also went to the lights with Josh's brother Jason, his wife Julie and their daughter Jude (Ju as Brinkley calls her). Brinkley and Jude got along sooooo well!! It was fun to watch them play together.

Brinks in her Christmas Eve pajamas! It came in a two pack. So we put on the pink one first, and then she wanted to change into the purple one. Ha ha.
Clutching her lion... as always.
Brinkley got good at opening presents. This one is at the Irwin Christmas Eve party. But she'd open lots more on Christmas day!!

And she tried to wrap herself up in a box. She sat right in it and put the lid on. Then she realized she forgot her lion, so she grabbed him and put him in the box with her. Silly girl.
I should also mention she got a second lion for Christmas from Santa.
She pulled him out of the box and... bit his nose.
Welcome to the family.
Now at home she'll keep her old crusty lion and give me the new one and say 'this is yours.'
I'm hoping she'll take to it soon. Her old one is reaching his deathbed.

I love this. Normally she does not like hats, but she sure likes her chef hat. She loved the whole chef outfit! Wouldn't that be cool if she really became a chef? Then I wouldn't have to cook anymore. :)

On New Year's Eve we went bowling with my family. I think I bowled a 60 something. Yikes. But that certainly didn't stop me from having a blast! There was music and a huge crowd and a dj that was giving away prizes and stuff!
My darling little baby won a $10.00 giftcard doing the most awesome chicken dance ever. I was so proud. I soooo wish I had a video of it.
This video will have to do:
We hope everyone also had a great holiday.
Blogging this was a big step for me! I feel like my life can finally move forward! Ha ha!

Really cute!
Isn't Utah the BEST?!? I am so glad you could be with your families on Christmas. But I am even more glad you are back here with me in Pittsburgh. I know what you mean about getting into the swing of things. The good thing is you got Christmas blogged. Start feeling better : ).
So cute! I love the dance!!
