Okay, folks. Here it is.
If you didn't notice the huge ticker at the top of the blog... then by all means, let me explain.
We are expecting!!!
I still feel like Brinkley is my little baby, I can't believe a second is on the way!
But since Brinks is now almost carrying on small conversations with me, I would guess it's time to add on to the family.
We are all very excited. I'm due July 17th. Nice and warm.
This pregnancy has been different from the first.
I have been so very nauseous.
Not pleasant.
I lost weight; at Christmas time!
What the?!?
It would help if anything sounded good to eat.
But no, I would almost rather starve, but that doesn't really help the nausea either.
I now have more sympathy for women who claim they hate pregnancy. Not that I hate it, I just understand now.
I don't remember the pace at which my stomach grew last time, but I will say I'm at the 'fat roll' stage right now. You know, when it looks like you just gained some weight there in the belly?
It seems to be rounding off a bit, so hopefully it will look less like 10 extra pounds and more like a baby.
The tired thing... same.
For the first trimester, I didn't move off the couch. Brinkley got addicted to Barney.
Then, gratefully, we went to Utah for Christmas. I got to nap on the couch everyday while grandma and grandpa played with my child. I'm surprised she remembered me when we got back to Pittsburgh.
The tiredness is wearing off a bit, but still not cured. We have moved on to bigger and better (and longer) movies such as Finding Nemo. Will the laziness ever wear off?
I can't remember!!
Anyway, all is well with the baby! I was very fortunate, we were able to hear a heartbeat at 9 weeks, which my OB was STOKED about. He said "if you were fat, I wouldn't have even tried."
Hmmm. I'll take that as a compliment Doc!
And we heard the heartbeat again at 13 weeks, I daresay I'm safe to announce it on my blog!
So yay for us!!!

You are hilarious! That was so fun to read. I swear this time I just skipped the fat roll stage and went straight to the huge prego mamaness stage! You are cute! Sorry you have been sick. Let me watch Brinkley sometime, I want to!
I know I already told you, but Congratulations! I'll also say that every pregnancy will have it's difference. That's how it seems to be for many, many women. Just go with the flow and whatever is going on will workout.

CONGRATULATIONS! We are SO happy for you! Before Daniel even scrolled down he said, "That little Brinkley is SO beautiful" and then we both saw that you've got one cookin' in the oven and we said, that's great because they make such stinkin' cute babies! :) Keep 'em coming!
What? You are expecting? Haha just kidding. I am excited we can have babies around the same time.
Congratulations!:)
Wow, Congratulations, that is great news! I hope you start to feel better soon. It will be so nice for you and Rebecca to have babbies so close.
If you hang on for 2 extra days your baby will have the same birthday as Natalie and I :)
