Okay, I'm just going to apologize in advance for this lame post...
I haven't been feeling particularly 'bloggy' lately. Nor creative. In fact, all I've been doing is reading Jane Eyre and watching Masterpiece Theater movies from the Library.
Talk about lack of motivation.
Buuuuttt... I do, however, feel the need to post before I go on a two week vacation to see family in Utah!! (hooray for summer!)
So, it's just going to be a quick update on what we've been up to!

We had a fantastically fun 4th of July surrounded by friends and yummy food!
We had a barbecue at our house out on our front porch.

There's cute Clare. What a trooper! She hung in there with us adults until about 10:30 pm.

Except Brinkley didn't so much like the fireworks. You can see through the smoky haze that we spent much of the time down the street trying to get her to stop crying.

Brinkley has been kissing all the boys...
Issac, Andrew, Asher, Talmage... You name him, she's kissed him.
Our garden is AWESOME! It is flourishing so very well. This was only taken about 2 weeks ago and the big zucchini plants you see are probably 10 inches bigger by now. We finally had to put up trellises to keep them from overtaking the entire garden. We have been enjoying zucchini, green beans, cucumbers and peas with our dinner each night.
Tomatoes and corn are not far behind.
Brinkley's new favorite day of the week is laundry day. Not because she is helpful, but because she likes to hang out in the laundry basket.
Why do I even bother getting her toys? Look at that smile!

Second, cute pictures. Carter has too benefitted from the Brinkley kiss. She's adorable.
Remember when you, Miranda and I went country dancing and you had to dance with that Latino kid who kept asking you for "one more" dance. And when you told him you had a boyfriend he was like, "I don't care, I like you! One more?" And you said, "No more." Hahahaha! I don't know why I just thought of that, but it was so funny. :)
