The Lamb and the Lion... and Brinkley

Kids pick their own 'lovey.'
In Brinkley's case: Lovies. Plural.

She has two stuffed animals that she absolutely adores:
Her lamb and her lion.

Isn't that ironic? It started with just the lion. She got attached to it when she started sleeping through the night. She would chew on his tail until she fell asleep. Then for Christmas she got a little fluffy lamb from her Great Grandma Johnson. Uh oh! Which one should she love most?
How about BOTH? Why pick between two favorites when you have room in your heart for two? And love them she does.

She gathers them both up in her arms, squeezes them tight, and rocks back and forth smiling her head off. It is so stinking cute!

And at night, she falls asleep with one in each arm. The Lamb and the Lion and Brinkley.

Well, sometimes...
And sometimes she just likes to stand up in her crib and throw them out - which makes her cry really hard.

That's so sweet, and very ironic that she would choose the lamb and the lion. Caleb has a bear he's attached to, and his new thing is putting the nose in his mouth and carrying it around. I love her birthday pictures by the way!

Ha! I love it! As I was looking through your blog, Maggie walked up to see. At every picture of Brinkley, she'd say "hi" and wave. I think we should make them pen pals one day! So fun you got to go to Utah! I bet you had a blast!
