While Niagara Falls is pretty darn cold this time of year, it was still beautiful. I can't believe how big the waterfalls are! Most of the events were still closed for the season, but we walked around and saw the falls from all different angles. We were not disappointed. Though, next time we think we'll get passports and see what the Canadian side has to offer.
Palmyra (the real purpose of our trip) was, of course, amazing! We took tours of the Smith Farm and the Sacred Grove, the Hill Cumorah, and the place where the Book of Mormon was printed! Each place was so special and we definitely felt the spirit in abundance.
This is the Hill Cumorah and the monument on top! We didn't climb the hill on foot because it was rainy and Brinkley was really tired, but we did drive up to the top and look out over the town. It was beautiful. We kept saying to each other: "Where do you think the plates were buried?"
This is the Palmyra Temple. It overlooks the Smith Farm. SO PRETTY!!

The Smith's log home. I LOVED this! The house was so simple and cozy. The Sacred Grove is directly behind it (we didn't get pictures of it - what were we thinking??)
This is us inside the Book of Mormon Publication site. This really was so cool to see. The sister missionaries gave us a personal, awesome tour. We saw the whole process of the printing of the Book of Mormon. I'll tell you what, I would have messed it up big time - I can't believe how much went into publishing that wonderful book! Plus, they gave us a printed page to take home! We're going to frame it.
tOh, here's Brinkley chillin' in the backseat. Reading a book - that's my girl. She did awesome for driving so many hours. Palmyra is like a seven hour drive from our house. I just have to say, I love that little girl. (She got another tooth while we were on vacation. That's four! Only 16 to go and teething will be OVER!)

Here is Josh and Brinks at Lake Ontario. COLD! I now understand the meaning of 'Ocean Spray.' We also saw Lake Erie but we didn't get any pictures of it.
