The great hair dilemma

Well. I don't know what to do...
With my child's hair that is.

It's kind of grown out a little bit funny.
Just a little.

The top is short all around except this long strip that hangs down the front.
The back doesn't seem to have a problem growing... it just has issues with being fuzzy.

It doesn't matter how I comb it. It always looks like this after her nap anyway:

I always promised myself that I wouldn't have the homely looking kids. They would always have their hair done, be dressed in cute clothes, have no food on their clothes or face, and definitely NO BOOGERS running out of their noses.

Uh. So much for that.

I think Brinkley has had boogers running down her face since she was 8 months old. Non.Stop.
And forget about food on the face. I pick my battles; and wiping off a squirming, screaming child's face is not one that I choose.

Besides, even with all the nappy hair, food on the face and boogers,
who can resist a face like this?
I guess we'll just have to be patient for the hair to grow...
