I know, I know. It's been ages since I've updated. For a while there my life seemed totally boring and then I put all our latest photos on the computer.
Well, lo and behold, stuff HAS happened!
We had Thanksgiving of course (no pictures, oops!). Our home teacher had us over to his house and I felt weird taking pictures of his home and family. I didn't want to wear out my welcome! But, what a wonderful day! We were so blessed to feel at home even away from family. A big fat grateful thanks to the Marsh Family!

Over Thanksgiving weekend, Josh, Brinkley and I drove to Washington D.C. and got to go to the temple! It was so beautiful and wonderful and amazing! Josh and I took turns watching the baby while the other went to the temple. Josh and Brinkley had such a good time together. She smiled and giggled at all the visitor center missionaries and scooted around on the floor. When I had her, all she did was sleep. That's okay though, I still enjoyed walking around the grounds.

Can I just brag a minute about the most perfect baby we have?
The drive to D.C. is almost exactly 4 hours. On the way there she slept for the first 2 hours, woke up and gooed in the back seat for a while, fussed a tiny bit but was fine once she had me as her back seat buddy. THEN, on the way home she slept. Yes, the entire time. And still slept that night. What a miracle. I love that babe.

Josh took these awesome pictures of the temple (so pretty) and the baby (so smiley)

Other big news in the McBride household is the brand new 1st Tooth our baby sprouted in her mouth! I was not fully warned at how miserable getting teeth can be. I thought I would never sleep a full night again. However, now that the tooth is there, I got a full nights rest. Now we're just anxiously awaiting the second tooth that is following close behind. SO CUTE!

I tried to get pictures of the tooth. Um, that's hard. But I did my best. If you click on the pictures it should make it bigger and you can kinda see it. If not, you can check it out in real life when we come HOME FOR CHRISTMAS!
She enjoys sucking on her shirt. I can't get enough of those rosy cheeks and big dark eyes.

Also, Brinkley is SO CLOSE to CRAWLING!!! She is an expert at scooting backwards, she just needs to figure out how to move her arms forward. I try to show her, but she just giggles at me.
The other day I was cooking dinner and had her on the floor in the living room. One minute she was laying there looking at me, and the next she had disappeared! I could still hear her talking to herself, so I went on a quest to find her. This is where she was hiding. Behind the chair! She likes the wood floor. It makes it so easy to slide around.

Peekaboo!

Ohhh! Almost got it! It won't be long.

Look at that tongue. She can't seem to keep it in her mouth! I'm afraid she's going to get chapped lips! We all had chapped lips as kids. You know, when it looked like you put too much lipstick around your mouth. So attractive.
